<p>On-car marketing has made NASCAR racing a big business. This effective form of advertising has elevated stock car racing from its humble beginnings to a multi-million dollar industry and an American tradition.</p>
<p>NASCAR had humble beginnings that grew from illegal over the road racing.  These early events were organized as friendly competitons amongst moonshine runners for the honor of boasting the fastest car around.</p>
<p>These fledgling events pulled out all the stops and the only rules were pretty much this: There were no rules.  Junior Johnson is pictured above with his fabuluously restored legendary bootleg runner called the Midnight Moon.</p>
<p>Junior originally ran moonshine during the prohibition but after it was appealed,he went on to become the first NASCAR driver icon.</p>
<p>Once it became obvious that this new sport began attracting crowds at local racetracks, many drivers began to paint advertisements on their cars in order to offset the cost of building and maintaing their cars.  Unlike today, drivers were lucky to receive a trophy and a small amount of cash for winning a race.</p>
<p>The crash at Daytona in 1960 is certainly the biggest in history and occurred on one of the new super tracks that had been completed earlier that year.  Thirty seven cars were involved in the massive wreck.  Whether it was caused by flaws in the design of the track of human error will never be known.</p>
<p>Contemporary cars are usually sponsored by automobile industry related corporations such as NAPA.  By doing so, the cost of building, maintaining and transporting the cars, as well as compensating their drivers, which can also be written of as a business expense.  Basically, the concept is a win-win situation making race events a win-win situation for sponsors.</p>
<p>Today, NASCAR events are pure marketing heaven. Car related industries are making a fortune by crashing in on on-car marketing because they benefit from a captive audience that meets their demographic criteria.  What makes this marketing method so effective is that not only does the endorser benefit but the drivers benefit as well.</p>

<p>Every driver has a huge number of fans. How well a driver races each season has a great deal to do with how interested advertisers are in seeing them endorse their products. What is interesting is that many NASCAR drivers see more income from endorsements than from the races themselves. They are so closely associated with these endorsements that we often refer to a car by their main endorser. One example is the Michael Waltrip, who drives the NAPA car.</p>
<p>With over  million in marketing sales being seen per year due to NASCAR sporting events, it is a certainty that the four P&#8217;s (product, pricing, place and promotion) are being utilized better in the NASCAR arena making it one of the most lucrative advertising venues today.</p>

<p>Being born and raised in Colorado I wanted to share all the wonderful things to do in that beautiful part of the country. I came up with more than you can imagine so I condensed my list to 5.</p>
<p>1. Red Rocks-The Red Rocks are exactly what it says. They&#8217;re Red and they&#8217;re Rocks. But not just any rocks. They are huge and slanted beautifully in the mountains near Morrison, Colorado, which is approximately 30 minutes from downtown Denver or 15 miles west of the city. The reason it is so nice is, it serves as an Amphitheater where you can have a nice meal at their full service restaurant and bar, or pick something up from the concession stand. You can also have a wedding, hold a meeting, and the best thing to do at Red Rocks is go to a concert. The acoustics make the sound incredible at the Amphitheater, and make the concert experience much better than that of a regular music hall. The Amphitheater has been compared to the Ancient Greek Theater at Taormina, Sicily, and stands higher than Niagara Falls.</p>
<p>2. Garden of the Gods-Garden of the Gods is a sandstone formation and has an awesome view of Pikes Peak. You can go on a guided nature walk, go horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, and for the lovers, you can get hitched. There wouldn&#8217;t be any time for boredom because there is just too much to do. Garden of the Gods is in Colorado Springs approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes or 67 miles south of the Mile High City.</p>
<p>3. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo-The Zoo is also located in Colorado Springs and is breathtaking. When you visit, you&#8217;ll see large grizzlies, you can take a mountaineer sky ride, and climb their bouldering wall. They have a historic monument which is 1.4 miles away from the zoo entrance that is dedicated to Will Rogers. The Will Rogers shrine was built by Spencer Penrose between 1934 and 1937, and is a beautiful, must see part of Colorado.</p>
<p>4. Ski Resorts-Colorado is known for the Rocky Mountains. The Rockies contain beautiful ski resorts such as Steamboat Springs, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, Crested Butte, Vail, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Arapahoe Basin, Echo Mountain, Eldora, Howelsen, Loveland, and Monarch Mountain, just to name a few. There are actually over 20 resorts in the beautiful mountains of Colorado.</p>
<p>5. Sports Fields-Invesco Field at Mile High, (yes the field was rebuilt, and yes it was given a new name, but for us natives we still call it Mile High), Pepsi Center, and Coors Field. In addition to the sports stadiums, Six Flags is located within walking distance of the Pepsi Center.</p>

<p><strong>Another facet about workers comp provided by PEOs is the “pay as you go” system, which means the PEO calculates the exact amount of workers comp premium necessary for each individual payroll. Why is this good? It helps companies, especially those with a huge workers comp bill, improve their cash flow. It is a stark improvement from how a company purchases worker&#8217;s comp insurance through status quo means, namely, the deposit and audit system. </strong></p>
<p><strong>Coemployment Factor: </strong><strong>The underlying concept we covered in </strong><strong>PEO Services 101, namely how coemployment effects a company’s state unemployment rate also applies to how workers comp behaves through a Professional Employer Organization. Remember our fun anecdote about the rock in the bathtub? It works here too. Basically, when operating with a PEO you’re operating under the PEO’s workers comp policy, so if a claim is filed by an employee, the claim hits the PEO’s policy, not yours. This means that it is not only the PEO’s job, it is financially in their best interest to manage all claims efficiently, and more importantly, to instill best practices and perform risk management procedures at your place of business. If you have a factory, or employ any moderately risky </strong><strong>classification codes</strong><strong>, a responsible PEO will perform a safety inspection at your facility to make sure you’re doing everything possible to prevent workforce injuries; because if somebody gets hurt and files a claim, it’s the PEO’s problem.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Another facet worth mentioning is that all Professional Employer Organizations have specific industries they target. Some focus primarily on white collar business, and will not accept a riskier profession into their pool, pretty wild, a PEO will actually turn you down if you don&#8217;t fit their parameters. Conversely, some PEOs focus on grey, or blue collar businesses. It all ties into the concept of coemployment, and how the risk of each client a PEO has is shared with the entire group. It doesn&#8217;t make sense to put a roofing company, known for high workers comp claims, into a pool primarily consisting of white collar professionals that barely make a claim. So when performing your </strong><strong>PEO due diligence, ask about what other clients the PEO has.</strong></p>
<p><strong>For companies with a big worker’s comp bill, PEO’s sometimes offer an incentive program whereby if you have a good year with no claims, they return some of the premium back to you at the end of the year, we’ve seen this check equal up to 30% of the entire year’s premium, you do the math!</strong></p>

 When dealing with real estate investments there are many steps to go through before investing.  Here are my top 10 keys to a successful real estate investment.

 (2)    <strong>Goal Settings</strong> – If you do not have a goal lined out for your real estate investments how do you plan on getting there?  Most investors buy one property, or invest based on emotion rather than having a set goal in mind.  For example, you could have a goal of obtaining ,000 per month in passive rental income from your investments through buying single family rental homes and apartment buildings.  Your goals should be clearly defined and should include protections and risk mitigation techniques to make sure it is a stable viable plan that can be obtained.

 (4)    <strong>Building Your Team</strong> –In order to make your investments work you must build your team.  Some of the team members you need are Real Estate Agents, Brokers and Bankers, Private Lenders, Appraisers, CPA’s, Attorney’s, Affiliates, Inspectors, Property Managers and Contractors.  There are much more but it’s pretty impossible to name them all.  It takes quite a bit of time to develop your team and make sure they can be relied upon.  I have found that building a team is the most important aspect of investing other than your due diligence on the investment itself.

<p>
 (5)    <strong>Due Diligence</strong> – Before investing in any real estate asset your due diligence is crucial.  You need to analyze the market your investing in, the market timing relative to that market, the specific neighborhood, the market value of the investment, the cash flow it produces, the rental income it should bring in, all of the expenses related to the investment and much more.  Inspections should be done as well as review of all of the backup documentation such as leases and contracts.  Think like an auditor, review all of the backup information provided by the seller and verify it with an outside source as much as possible.  I hear horror stories all the time about how people lost money in real estate.  After inquiring as to what happened I can say that 99% of the time the investor did not do or know how to do the right due diligence on the investment in the first place.
</p>
<p>
 (6)    <strong>Property Management</strong>– Property management can make or break your investment.  If you do not have a competent property manager that actually cares about your investment and your success you will have a losing investment.  We went through about 5 different property management companies before finally starting our own company and bringing the management in house.  Most managers are bad at some of the basic management functions such as accounting, rent collection, tenanting, leasing and background checks, repair calls and taking care of the tenant. By far the most important and biggest problem is communication with the owner of the property.  Communication is crucial because without communication the investor cannot make decisions regarding the investment and lack control.  Property management also needs to be structured based on performance, meaning, they get paid if it’s occupied only, not when it’s vacant and there are incentives in place to optimize performance. 
</p>
<p>
 (7)    <strong>Marketing</strong> – If you do not know how to market for property, capital, property sales, and resources you will not be successful in real estate.  Marketing and sales is one of the most important parts of any business.  During economic problems and recessions most companies cut back on marketing when it’s most important to increase your marketing efforts.  If there are less investors, buyers, and resources available because of the economy, there is more of your competition going after your resources.  So in order to attract those resources before your competition you have to market more.  Marketing and sales is a business all in itself so getting educated on marketing strategies is imperative to your success.  When most people think marketing they think of posting classified ads, sending out mailers, coupons, billboards and more but the most important and underutilized marketing strategy is internet marketing.  Internet marketing is revolutionizing the way most companies market and if you do not understand it or start to learn about internet marketing you will not gain the market share you deserve and will not be as successful.  85% of buyers go online first for investments.  It is an online world weather you know about it or not.

<p>
 (8)    <strong>Treat Your Investments As a Business</strong> – Most investors buy one real estate investment and do not fully utilize all of its capabilities from a business perspective.  If you own one property or 50+ properties you should be treating it as a business.  Be sure to keep track of ALL of your expenses related to the investment, the due diligence you did, travel costs you incurred, etc so that you can get a deduction for those items against income from other sources.  These types of expenses can happen annually and a percentage of your personal expenses can be used as a tax loophole in order to deduct more against your active income from your job.  Your biggest expense in life is your taxes.  It is the government’s job to find more creative ways to tax us.  It is our job to find creative ways to legally not pay taxes.  If you are not winning against the government, start to educate yourself on key tax saving strategies.

<p>
 (9)    <strong>Legal Protection And Tax Structuring</strong> – It is crucial that you protect yourself from financial predators.  There are people out there that will sue anyone they possibly can.  It’s really important to obtain additional umbrella insurance or put your assets into a proper entity so that you are not liable in frivolous lawsuits.  Generally for tax purposes you want to keep passive investments (investments like rental real estate that produce income you do not work for) in an LLC and active investments (investments you actively work for) in an S-Corporation or similar entity.  Please consult your individual tax advisor to go over your specific situation as it is impossible for this advice to relate to every situation.  Also be sure to keep yourself separate financially from the investment or entity you hold the investment in so that you do not pierce the corporate veil.  If you co-mingle your funds there is a very real possibility that in court your legal entity protection that you worked so hard to setup is worthless.

 (10)<strong>Investing In Sustainable Investment Types –</strong> Invest in asset types and real estate investments that are sustainable in the long run.  Look closely at the cash flow included in the investment.  If it’s negative, unless you are flipping, do not invest.  Flipping can be much more dangerous than investing for cash flow because you typically have a payment on a flip investment that is not covered fully by the rental income and if you get stuck with the property you find yourself in a negative cash flow situation and can only sustain as long as you have money in the bank that can make that payment.  Many people lose a lot of money trying to flip property, not knowing fully what they are doing and the risk they are taking only to lose a significant amount of money.  On the other side when you are investing for cash flow only invest in quality assets.  Typically if you invest in low end assets in your market you get low end tenants also.  What I consider a low end tenant is someone that does not pay the rent on time if at all, causes damage to your property and is a nightmare to deal with.  This happens quite frequently in low end property for a particular market.   You want to invest in quality long term assets that are going to produce positive monthly cash flow and make you a great return on investment after you have been conservative with the numbers.

<p>
 I truly believe if you do these things along with increasing your financial IQ you will be successful if you work hard for it.  Most of the wealthy individuals in the world work hard for their money and are constantly evaluating their financial situation and investment goals.  Putting a personal budget together and reviewing it monthly, creating additional income sources, implementing tax savings strategies, protecting your money from financial predators and constantly educating yourself are the keys to becoming wealthy.

 Eating disorder or otherwise known as anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa is defined as abnormal eating habits characterized by excessive eating or inadequate eating. It affects adults, teenagers, and kids. Eating disorder is associated with behavioral development disorders common among teenagers and children. Social problems also cause eating disorder. Negative feelings and thoughts about self-look affect eating habits, leading to eating disorders.

 Victims of eating disorder display confusion and after finding themselves into this, they tend to take drastic measures to lose weight or gain weight.
</p>
<p>
 People with eating disorders see there is no need for treatment or counseling. For them it is a waste of time and eating disorder is not an alarming issue.
</p>
<p>
 Asking for help when someone does not think he or she needs it can be hard. Admitting is tough and they show resistance from getting professional care for the disorder. For someone with a family or friend with eating disorder, approach them in a non-threatening, supportive, and hopeful way.
</p>
<p>
 Many victims think medications are not effective for them.
</p>
<p>
 Clinics or treatment centers employing professional persons for this purpose are supportive and they follow clinically tested, effective procedures in treating patients.
</p>
<p>
 During the treatment, the patients should be on guard for adverse effects from overeating or insufficient eating. This is usually the trend. Overeating victims succumb to skipping meals and those under inadequate eating disorder will tend to overeat. This can cause very serious health problems. Varied health problems can occur and found to have direct link to overeating or inadequate eating.
</p>
<p>
 Psychological issues are also common among eating disorder patients. Eating disorders can result from serious mental and behavioral health conditions, as well as trauma. Some notable complications for eating disorder patients are:
</p>

 1. A drop in blood pressure, pulse, and breathing rate
</p>
<p>
 2. Hair loss and fingernail breakage
</p>
<p>
 3. Anemia
</p>
<p>
 4. Swollen joints
</p>
<p>
 5. Brittle bones
</p>
<p>
 6. Loss of periods
</p>
<p>
 7. Soft hairs grow all over the skin
</p>
<p>
 8. Lightheadedness
</p>
<p>
 9. Inability to concentrate
</p>
<p>
 10. Constant stomach pain
</p>
<p>
 11. Stomach and kidney damage
</p>
<p>
 12. Tooth decay
</p>
<p>
 13. &#8221;Chipmunk cheeks&#8221;
</p>
<p>
 14. Loss of the mineral potassium (can contribute to heart problems and even death)
</p>
<p>

<p>With the release of Flashpoint: Book One of the Underground, author Frank Creed reaches out to teens and tweens, as well as science fiction and cyberpunk fans with his speculative fiction.</p>
<p>Set in Chicago 2036, Flashpoint takes the reader into a frightening future where patriotism has turned into tyranny and the world as we know it has been turned upside down. In Creed&#8217;s word, the violence of terrorism has united all nations into a one-world government, and the Patriot Act has darkened into something much more ominous. Fundamentalist religions have all been all labeled as terrorists and are the One State&#8217;s only enemy, including Bible-believing Christians in Flashpoint: Book One of the Underground.</p>
<p>When One State peacekeepers (called &#8220;Neros&#8221;) invade a home-church in the Chicago Metroplex and arrest all the members, only three people escape capture: a 20-year-old young man, his 16-year-old sister, and their father. Before turning himself in to join his wife and give his children a chance for freedom, the father sends his son and daughter to the &#8220;Body of Christ Underground&#8221; where they adopt street-names, undergo spiritual and technological reformation, and disappear into the dangerous world of underground Chicago. Their new mission in their new life is to save believers, including their family, before they are captured by the One State Neros to be rehabilitated, brainwashed, or killed.</p>
<p>The young hero of Flashpoint: Book One of the Underground becomes Calamity Kid after joining the &#8220;Body of Christ Underground,&#8221; and his tech-savvy sister takes the name e-girl. To accomplish their mission, they will willingly walk through the valley of death, because He&#8217;s with them, but they will need all of their enhanced faith to stand against the peacekeepers, gangers, One-State Neros, and fallen angels who will stop at nothing to capture or kill them.</p>
<p>Flashpoint: Book One of the Underground is loaded with images and slang which will appeal to teens, and is also loaded with morals and values which will appeal to Christian parents. I have read many press releases which promise &#8220;the next Harry Potter&#8221; but fail miserably to deliver a book that is readable. Flashpoint: Book One of the Underground delivers an exciting plot and Christian values without resorting to tedious apologetics or heavy-handed bombardment of scripture.</p>
<p>Published by The Writers Cafe Press, Flashpoint was the 2006 winner of best science fiction chapter book at the world&#8217;s largest sci-fi/ fantasy online community, Elfwood.com, as well as earning the 2007 Christian Fiction Review Impress award for the best book toured.</p>

The story involves a German professor (Otto Lidenbrock in the original French, Professor Von Hardwigg in the most common English translation) who believes there are volcanic tubes going toward the center of the Earth. He, his nephew Axel, and their guide Hans encounter many adventures, including prehistoric animals and natural hazards, eventually coming to the surface again in southern Italy. The living organisms they meet reflect geological time; just as the rock layers become older and older the deeper they travel, the animals become more and more ancient the closer the characters approach the center. 3.- 1984: Classic dystopian novel by English author George Orwell.
